I. Review of groups to be invited
A. Jeff will add the WVU Extension Office and the Steering Committee for the EZ/EC plan to
B. Joe Mattaliano will fax the list of names and addresses to Jeff
II. Review of the invitation letter
A. Jeff will add the names of everyone in the planning group to the end of the letter as signees
B. Instead of asking every group to do a brief presentation, members of this group will try to think of one good example of an organization using technology in business, education, health care, non-profit, government, etc. to present at the forum. Other groups will be able to display materials about their technology capabilities. We will also try to compile a resource directory of what every group has available
C. More emphasis in the letter of a process and outcome
III. The Forum
A. Tom will contact Don Mitchell about kicking-off the event.
B. We will try to hold the Forum one evening in mid-October
C. The proposed location is the lobby of Main Hall at the college
D. Televise the conference on Channel 9 and also tape it to run in Belington
IV. Next steps
A. Jeff will make the changes to the letter and then send a copy to every member of the group for comments.
B. Group members need to send in their comments about the letter and suggestions for presenters to Jeff by Friday, September 6. Jeff will then put all of this together for the next meeting on Wednesday September 11, 1996. Jeff will send a reminder with time and location about a week prior to the meeting.
