Capabilities Briefings and Partnering Opportunities
1997 Teaming to Win Briefing Information
. | This year the Teaming to Win Committee will again provide an opportunity for interested companies to present their expertise to potential partners in the quiet setting of a conference room. This concept was developed to allow each company to present a focused, informal briefing away from the crowded conference floor. The format enables your business to pursue potential business opportunities in more detail than might be possible at a booth. TVs, VCRs, overhead projectors with screens, and easels with paper will be available. Other equipment will have to be provided by your company. The briefing room will accommodate about 25 people. Transition times are minimal so you must be prepared to get in and out quickly. Maintenance time will be limited to nonexistant. You should have a backup plan in case of equipment failure. This opportunity is at no additional cost. Since there has been considerable interest expressed, 42 time slots for 20 to 30 minute presentations have been set aside. Should fewer than 42 companies express interest, additional briefing time will be made available. However, assignments will be made on a first-come-first-served basis and demand generally exceeds available times. Those who respond the quickest with their application will be assigned time slots until the 42 sessions are booked. Please complete the registration form to insure your time slot for a briefing. The briefing times and locations will be posted in the lobby/registration area the first day of the conference. A list of those whose registration and whose capabilities briefing request have been received is available here: |
. | A list of those who have registered for Teaming to Win 97 is also available. Use this list to develop a list of invitees for your capabilities briefing. You should invite businesses to attend your briefing rather than just rely on our notices and displays. This year you have an opportunity to invite people on Thursday to attend your Friday briefing. You should also expect interested people to drop in on your presentation. If you would like a private session with another business, please advise us. We do have some rooms available for that purpose. |
