The Teaming to Win conference evolved as an initiative of the First Congressional District Procurement Team.

* Barbara M. Weaver, U.S. Small Business Administration, was the first director of the conference.

* The event was held at Morgantown’s Ramada Inn.

* Guest speakers for the first Teaming to Win conference included Harry Atkins, Legislative Fellow, Office of Senator Robert C. Byrd; Carl Guerreri, President of Electronic Warfare Associates; and Roger J. Dale, Division Manager, Hercules, Inc.

* The keynote address at the banquet was delivered by Robert J. Moffitt, Associate Administrator for Procurement Assistance, U.S. Small Business Administration.
