	Donna Ozburn, NASA, and Herb Smith, MPL Corporation, were co-directors of the conference. * A conference fundraising reception in honor of all previous Teaming to Win corporate contributors was held at the Fairmont Field Club on February 28, 1997. * The conference was held at Lakeview Resort and Conference Center. * Total attendance was 481 persons representing 190 businesses from seven different states. * The event included a pre-conference reception at the Erikson Alumni Center and a breakfast that featured a keynote address by Rita Bajura, Director of the Federal Energy Technology Center (FETC). * A continuation of capability briefings and utilization of the indoor tennis courts as the exhibition hall for booth displays were conference highlights. * The annual Teaming to Win award winners were: Marada Corporation, Teaming to Win Small Business of the Year; ManTech International Corporation, Teaming to Win Large Business of the Year; the National Technology Transfer Center, Teaming Organization of the Year; Rick Detrio, Teaming Advocate; and, Linda Wellings, Spirit of Teaming Award. * The keynote speaker for the conference banquet was Aida Alvarez, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
