Dave Walker, West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation, and Donna Ozburn, NASA, teamed together as conference co-directors.

* Teaming to Win ’96 attracted 480 participants representing 200 businesses from eight different states.

* The event was held at Lakeview Resort and Conference Center and featured an NCMA charity golf outing and an organized tour of several local federal facilities including NIOSH, METC, the FBI, and NASA.

* Capability briefings by conference attendees were incorporated into the agenda as new features of the conference.

* A conference breakfast held at Ramada Inn was added to the agenda in 1996 and featured a presentation by David C. Hardesty, President of West Virginia University (WVU).

* A pre-conference reception at Erickson Alumni Center was underwritten by the WVU Research Corporation.

* The Teaming to Win Award winners for 1996 were: D.N. American, Teaming to Win Small Business of the Year; EWA, Teaming to Win Large Business of the Year; West Virginia High Technology Corsortium Foundation, Teaming to Win Organization of the Year; Dr. Frank Blake, Teaming Advocate; and Brent Armstrong, Spirit of Teaming Award.

* The banquet featured a keynote address by Congressman Alan B. Mollohan.
